Impact Central Illinois

WELCOME to the Impact Central Illinois portal. We look forward to reviewing your LOI submission and learning more about how you are making our community better every day.

Impact Central Illinois will award three (3) $100,000 IMPACT grants in each of our three (3) focus areas: Education & Community Development, Health & Community Wellbeing, and Social Services & Basic Needs. The IMPACT grants are reserved for organizations with gross revenues greater than or equal to $250,000 in the last fiscal year.

Impact Central Illinois will also award one (1) $25,000 INSPIRE grant. The INSPIRE grant is reserved solely for organizations with gross revenues less than $250,000 in the last fiscal year.  

The deadline for this LOI submission is February 7, 2023 at 11:59 pm. 

To apply for an Impact Central Illinois grant, an organization must
 
1. meet ALL Eligibility Requirements
2. provide full disclosure regarding any restrictions or requirements for participation in your program
3. use funds within the allowed guidelines we have outlined
4. own the facility or have minimum of 5 year lease for any proposed capital improvement projects
5. disclose any pending litigation
6. upload a total Project or Program Budget using the Proposal Budget Template available on the 'Apply For A Grant' tab of our website. This needs to be submitted with this Letter of Inquiry. If grant is awarded, the budget amount must be used within a 24 month period. Project/Program Budget must be greater than or equal to the grant amount for which you are being considered.
7. upload a copy of your IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable status determination letter.  

Should you be invited to the Full Grant Application Phase, you will be asked to submit the following financial documents: 
- A copy of the three most recently filed IRS Form 990s (990, 990-N, 990EZ).
- A copy of the three most recent audits, if audit eligible.
- A copy of three years of financial statements. (Balance Sheet, Income Statement OR Statement of Financial Activity, Statement of Financial Position)
- CO-1 Charitable Organization Registration Statement (from Illinois Attorney General)

Should your proposal advance to the Site Visit phase, a site visit will be scheduled on one of the following four dates: Thursday, April 27, 2023; Friday, April 28, 2023; Monday, May 1, 2023; or Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
